BEETROOT Red Devil - 50 Seeds 

Beetroot Red Devil produces long, dark red stems which keep leaves clean in the field. It is grown for the red tops, not the roots. The tops are similar to that of Bull’s Blood, very dark red, ideal for bunching. 

This newly discovered variety will add vibrant colour to any spring mix. Young stems have a beautiful magenta-red colour extending into the leaf veins and fading into the medium green leaves. Young leaves can be cut after 30 days. 

Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds direct or in punnets in winter/ cooler times in tropics and anytime in milder climates. Space plants 10cms apart in rows 20cms wide.

Harvest leaves after 35 days and after 60 days for the root.
